Hi, my name is Jennifer Maiers. I am a recent graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Theater from Columbia College of Chicago in theater where I graduated cum laude. I volunteered for a year at The Institute for Therapy Through the Arts in the drama therapy department. I was a therapist's aide working with children and young adults with mental disabilities. I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well being of clients as well as engaging them in play. Most of the children that I worked with were on the autism spectrum, utilizing drama techniques to develop social skills. I love to bake, especially cupcakes and I love to work with children.
