Currently unemployed after 26 years with the Post Bulletin. I am a proofreader by profession. I am looking for a career change that will allow me to use my love of reading, learning, teaching and use of the written word. What better direction than with children! I was avidly involved in the education of my 2 girls and almost spent as much time in their classroom as they did. I worked closely with the Montessori education ideas at Ben Franklin Montessori. While my children attended, I facilitated a government reading program -RIF- for 4 years receiving multiple commendations & awards. My children graduated the public school system with honors and a love for learning. I attribute this to exploring everything they were naturally curious about. I will always love teaching little ones about the world around them and never tire of the expression on their faces as they grasp a Read more concept, figure out a challenge or learn something new!
