The first time I babysat was for my sisters when I was 12. After that I started to babysit for children in my church. I loved playing with the children and watching them develop into the unique people they are! In 8th grade I dropped my flute lessons to assist in teaching special needs children math and reading skills. It was the best part of my day to help the kids start to understand what I was teaching them. I became a permanent nanny for two children in June 2015 until August 2016. This job was many experiences in one. I got experience handling kids with major food allergies and outdoor allergies. I learned how to paint a house. I got to schedule special projects and homework and reading sessions. I loved every moment!
