One of my favorite things to do for parents is to send little text messages with funny things their kids said or did (with a picture if it's really funny)! I know it's hard to leave the kids sometimes and I want to provide the feeling that you're still there with your kids and not missing things. I love kids of all ages. I have my own car and can take them to the library, swimming, to the park, on a picnic or other fun things. I will limit TV if that is your wish. I will also do light household chores (i.e. cooking, some laundry, helping the kids clean their rooms, picking up toys) and I get the kids involved too so they learn how to take care of the little things at home.
