About me: I have just graduated high school and am looking for some jobs over the summer until college starts. As a child I was quiet and read a lot of books; now, I still have my love of learning, but I am very outgoing and adventurous. I love to go biking, and just finished up a bike tour of 250 miles through Central Valley, California. My love of fairytales as a little kid caused me to inevitably become a fencer, and I will continue fencing competitively for my college. Another big part of who I am is my huge love for animals, especially dogs. I simply cannot get enough of them. Experience: I am the oldest sibling of two younger children, a boy 7 years younger than me and a girl 5 years younger. I have been watching them since I was 12 and because my parents often work Read more late I am experienced in making meals. I absolutely love pets and have two big lab mixes of my own, one of which has diabetes so I am experienced in giving insulin shots and eye drops to dogs. Although I started out only making pasta and mac n cheese when I was younger, I now love cooking and can make a large variety of meals and desserts. Besides often being the "third parent" of my family, I have had many experiences with other children. I watched two younger children from the ages of 1-4 for several years during the day and for date nights. I also have routinely cared for a young boy in the same age range when his parents went out. Both of these families had pets. My parents will also often host parties at our house and I will both entertain and care for the children of guests. Thank you for your consideration!
