I want to start off by explaining why I want to be a Nanny. When I was in 8th grade I had some normal problems a preteen would, and in September 2008 my baby Nephew was born. From the minute he was born he became my life, I had a connection with him that I never had with anyone else. To this day my nephew is still my rock and because of him I want to help other children grow into wonderful adults in a fun and safe environment. I have seen many nannies' wanting to nanny just for the money, with me it goes deeper than the money. I find enjoyment helping kids succeed while having a great time. I feel I would be a great role model as a nanny. The first way I am a good role model is I make positive choices, for example more than Read more half of my friends are smokers but I decided never fall into the habit even though most my friends did. Secondly, I think out loud. This is a good trait for a role model because it allows a child to see how to work through a problem. Third I admit to my wrong doings and I apologize for the things showing kids sometimes people mess up and how to fix it. Another reason I'm a good role model is that I follow through with my word. Lastly I am a good role model because I demonstrate confidence in myself showing a kid to be themselves and to be proud of whom they are. I have my own car, I do not smoke as previously stated, I love animals :) and I am always on time.
