I am a fun, but responsible person who will be graduating from Union High School in May and am looking for seasonal employment to earn money for my college tuition. I am adult CPR/FA/AED certified, and have reliable, safe transportation. I can cook simple meals and have cleaned house for my grandmother as needed for the past two years. I am now needing more substantial employment for the summer. I would love to work at a summer day camp or provide private full time child care in your home. Much of the experience I have gained in working with children has been through volunteering with the Children's Church program where I attend with my family. I also volunteered as a teachers aid/tutor in a fifth grade classroom through my A+ experience for a semester and truly enjoyed it. Working with my younger brother who has high functioning Autism, and providing Read more enjoyable but safe supervision for him has given me valuable patience, understanding and compassion. Besides that, I just love kids and we have a great time together! My life goal is to someday join the Foreign Service or State Department. I plan to do this through getting my Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations with a minor in Military Studies @/or Political Science. While attending college I will also participate in the ROTC program and graduate not only with a degree, but with my commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. From there I will gain valuable skills and experience hopefully overseas which will assist me in getting into the Foreign Service.
