Hello! My name is Samantha. I am the oldest of three children in my family as well as 14 immeadiate/extended cousins. As you might imagine, I have a lot of experience with babysitting through my family. I have also tutored my younger brother, who has a learning disability in math. Although I do not have a lot of professional experience, I have often volunteered with children through my church and during my undergraduate years of college. I have a BA in Psychology from William Jewell College and an MEd in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Missouri. I am willing to care for typical children as well as children with ASD, as I have often cared for my younger cousin who is on the high functioning end of the spectrum. I am very patient and positive and really enjoy caring for children of all ages. I love to Read more read, play board and video games, do puzzles, and play imaginative games with children indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable with pets as I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I am looking to care for some children mainly over the summer as I will be getting married and moving to another state in September.
