I realized how much I loved children when I volunteered at a Head Start while I was a job coach for the mentally disabled. Here we made lesson plans, snacks, songs and were helpers in getting the children to their parents wjen they arrived to pick them up. I eventually became a mother to a little girl and found it to be so rewarding and natural. I currently have been working as a Lead Teacher for a daycare in the Infant and Toddler room. I also have aided in the Pre-K and School Ager class. My specialtys are in Music/Dance and Arts and Crafts. These are fun ways for children to reach he important milestones needed whole having fun. I'm CPR certified. I also am already registered on Missouris Childcare Saftey Registry. I ahve a clean background and am willing to disclose whatever is needed for proof. The reason I Read more am looking for a different job woth Children is simply because of poor managment and pay. I drive an hour to work each day because the small town I live in has very few job opportunities. I am willing to travel. I strive to take care of children emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally as they were my own. I know the trust required and will ensure a safe and loving experience with any children in need.
