My name is Rachel, I'm 20 years old and currently a sophomore at Loyola University Chicago (and before you ask, yes, I have met Sister Jean)! I have experience working with children of all ages, genders races, and abilities. I have been babysitting for five years, and I've watched children from age 2 months to 13 years. I am comfortable watching up to five children at once. I currently work at Housing Opportunities for Women (HOW) in Chicago. HOW is a nonprofit that specializes in assisting previously homeless women in finding new jobs and new homes. I work with these women's children, tutoring them three times a week, and taking them on various field trips around Chicago I have plenty of experience working with children with disabilities. I have volunteered at Equine Assisted Therapy, a facility that assists children with disabilities to improve their social, cognitive, and motor skills.
