Honesty is extremely important to me and the way I live my life, that being said, I will not attempt to make my profile some manipulated "poster" version of who I am and my experience. I am not a "professionally" experienced nanny that has done nothing but nanny vocational my entire life, but my real life RAW experience with child care and home- economics is abaundant & WELL rounded. I can assure you, I would never accept nor falsify my ability to perform(WELL) any position I wasnt wholeheartedly confident in undertaking. Outside of periodic babysitting jobs, I have undertaken a massive role in raising all 9 of my nephews(many of which are still being raised by/with help of aunt "nenna"). I may not be a "professional" nanny with a wrap-sheet resume of qualified professional experience, but rest assured I am WONDERFUL with kids. I am a great mentor/educator; I have Read more an act for "hard to teach" children or kids that just have a hard time figuring out schoolwork but are ALWAYS ALWAYS smart enough; it's always just a matter of technique and finding new ways that aid them personally in learning. Keyword, PERSONALLY. And that is basically my approach all around when caring for children in general. Every kid is different it's all about working with their individual personalities and gaining their trust in you first and foremost. I am also incredibly patient with children and remain calm with them at all times. They are little humans learning to be better humans day by day. Getting frustrated, overwhelmed, or allowing an innocent, undeveloped child to have power over your sense of peace and authoritative wisdom, is silly. Obviously, not one person could adhere to that statement 120% of the time, but acting with such a notion as a moral foundation surely helps its success. If references are desired I have plenty of family/personnel of which have entrusted their little lives to me many times over. Not to mention personal requests for tutoring/study help. I do have a little student teaching for kindergarten under my belt as well. In addition, I also have a degree and a tidal wave of professional experience in culinary arts as well as housekeeping. Promise by the time I'm done, if you have picky eaters, they'll love the stuff that fuels their little bodies healthfully!
