Retired school teacher with lots of babysitting experience and teaching but no official certification in cpr or first aid but I have been through the training. I have cared for a diverse range of children and if you have unusual circumstances honestly I've probably been through it myself so just ask. I've done triplets on life support to special needs to homeschooling. Ideally I'd prefer one day off a week but...? I know almost everything about children from not to put an infant down on their tummy to teaching a child how to read. I know parents have their own ideas about how they want to raise their children and I always do my best to abide by those wishes. I believe in learning activities at an early age so we won't just be sitting in front of the television I promise. Just so you know I've never smoked, I have old-fashioned values and expect to come home to the dishes being done or the laundry folded as I get excited when I can help parents who come home after a long day. I don't mind running errands if you provide a car seat and I love dogs so pets are fine with me. Staying late is not usually a problem for me as it's just me and my 18 year old daughter at home.
