Hi im Brooke! I have been watching kids or teaching kids for now a majority of my life. Started of course like most babysitting when young... loved it! In middle school I had a camp at my house during the summer for a couple of weeks and for 2 years it had 15 plus kids attend. In high school I was a nanny for 2 girls in elementary and middle school. I watched these girls for 5 years and I still keep in touch with them today. In high school and into college I was a lifeguard during the summer and the kids really took a liken to me. I also taught swim lessons to little kids for 4 years. After high school I help coach competitive cheerleading and helped out with the camps when i came home from college. I went to college at KU and I studied art. In 2006 I got my BFA in Textile design. After I graduated I worked as a kindergarten aid for year before I realized that I wanted to be a teacher. I left KC and went to Denver and got my teaching degree there. I know am certified to teach art for all grade levels. I am still looking for a full time teaching position but for the time being I am a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school in Olathe and Blue Valley. As you probably can tell I love being around kids....because I am a big kid at heart!
