Hello! My name is Bailey and I'm 22 years old. Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my profile. I started off working at YMCA at the after school daycare when I was seventeen years old and found that I loved working with children. My experience at the YMCA was limited to helping children with their homework, playing outdoors, organized games in the gym, art, dress up, board games, etc. As much as I enjoyed this I found it restricting, so applied to The Goddard School.  The Goddard School is an early childhood education program ages from three months-six years. My duties included getting the breakfast and lunch, story time, crafts, outdoor activities, nap time, following class curriculums, and taking full responsibility for babies and toddler's needs. For the last two years I’ve worked for two families. The first family had a newborn child, two year old, Read more and four year old. I took care of the newborn when the mother wasn’t there. I would drive the two older children to fun activities, such as swimming, Monkey Business, Science City, parks, out to lunch, etc. We had a blast! The second family I babysat for was two days a week for a 6 month old boy and his 3 year old sister. My responsibilities were to entertain, put him down for a nap, feed him when he woke, prepared all bottles and changed his diapers. I would then drive to go pick up the three year old from school and bring her home to make her lunch until the parents returned from work. Personally I am organized, hands on, responsible, reliable, fun, active, energetic, loving, and caring. I have a mother, father, sister, and dog (Jilly) who live locally and the rest of my family is in England. I am capable of cooking, limited cleaning, grocery shopping, and have become creative in thinking of fun activties and crafts for children of all ages. I have been driving for six years. My car is a four wheel drive SUV that can fit 2 car seats in the back. I went to Shawnee Mission South high school and am not in college yet, so I am very flexible for the time being.
