I have babysat ever since I was old enough to. Even as a little girl, I loved to watch the younger children. I started babysitting neighbors at age 13/14. I started volunteering for my church as a child care worker and when I turned 18, they hired me. I took a babysitting course over the summer several years ago. I am definitely willing to get my certification renewed. I believe safety is the most important thing. When I became old enough to volunteer at summer camps for kids, I would always sign up for kids counselor. I worked for a camp here in St.Louis and they hired me when I became old enough too. I’ve lead a soccer training camp for kids for two summers. And currently work at my church as a child worker on weekends.
