I'm currently a college freshman and am looking for a part-time nanny job for the 2017-2018 school year, ideally 2-3 days a week. I'm willing to negotiate price, distance I travel, and hours. I work in my church's nursery (large church with over 15,00 members; 10-18 kids per classroom with 3:1 ratio) and am going on 2 years. I am CPR and Safe Gatherings (a program that educates and helps prevent child abuse in childcare settings). I have the most experience with infants and toddlers and have had a lot of training on positive discipline and redirecting children; this is the environment that I like to create while caring for children and I really advocate for positive parenting. I'm also comfortable with any type of pets, helping to tidy up a house, carpooling, and meal prep. I also have multiple references available, both coordinators at my work and people I have babysat for. I'd love to schedule a meeting and interview with a family if we seem to have the same type of personality when dealing with kiddos. I've had the opportunity to work with a lot of other staff who have children. They've though me multiple different techniques in calming infants. I also know a lot about sensory activities. They are many you can do at home that are free and are great activities for engaging babies and toddlers.
