I am a very experienced mother of eleven children, so obviously I love kids! Nine of our eleven children are adopted and seven of those nine we've had since birth. The other two children became a part of our family when they were three years old. We did not set out to adopt so many children but the Lord had other plans for us and we feel extremely blessed. Our home is a virtual rainbow of races and cultures. Each of our children were considered "special needs" for one reason or another but I am happy to say they are all doing great. Our oldest two children are married and have children of their own. I watched two of my three grandchildren full time until they started school. Four of our younger nine children are off to college now and we have four in high school. I am home schooling Read more our youngest daughter. She is in seventh grade and she is a great independent worker. She also loves children and is going to miss having the grandkids around daily. I have worked with infants through five year olds most of my adult life in either paid or volunteer positions at church. When my two oldest were young I had a state licensed daycare in my home. I've taught pre-k, done preschool choir, directed a Mother's Day Out, and worked in bed babies every Sunday for many years. I can provide many references and would be happy to do a background check. I have a crib, high chair, exersaucer, and toys for many ages. With four children in college we need an extra income. However, with so many in activities in high school I like to be able to be here if needed. I'd love to be able to take your little one along with me if I need to go somewhere. I am a very cautious person and I'd treat your child as I would my own.
