I am a new grandma (but still young!) and would love to provide childcare in my home for 2 to 3 children on a full- or part-time basis. I would describe myself as a nonsmoking, happy, optimistic, easy-going but dependable, organized but fun-loving, caring Christian woman who loves children and enjoys caring for them and making them happy! I have 3 years of experience as a paid childcare provider having babysat (including several infants) in my home for 2 years and working as a teacher for four 1-year-old children in a mother’s day out program. However, I have many more years of experience with children having worked in the church nursery, having taught Sunday School and VBS, having led a children’s choir, and last, but not least, having raised 2 children of my own. We have a large, fenced-in backyard with a wood swing set and plenty of room to Read more toss balls back and forth, play tag, etc. We have lots of children’s books, games and puzzles. I also have a piano and would enjoy working a little bit with older children who desire to learn to play. I am a new grandma but still young enough to enjoy jogging, playing catch in the yard, taking walks, etc. I love taking children to the park, and there is a very nice playground less than a mile from where I live. My favorite activities with children include reading books, singing songs and nursery rhymes, crafts, games, and exploring the great outdoors (I love to be outside!). I really enjoy children and love watching them learn and grow!
