I have been babysitting since I was 14 when I first took a babysitting course. I continued to sit and work in children's programs at the YMCA for many years and even worked at their summer camp one summer. I have volunteered with the special olympics and other activities with the special education class. I have cared for many children with special needs from autism, behavioral issues and down syndrome. I also am a nursing student so I am good with first aid and other emergency situations that might occur. I have always loved spending time with children and coming up with fun activities to do during the time I am sitting.
