Hello my name is Ms. Brenda and I have been in the child care profession for 15+ years. I have many years of college and volunteer hours in education. I am a mother of 4 amazing children and a grandma of a sweet handsome boy. I was a substitute teacher for the St Joseph, mo school districts. St Joseph school school district 9+ years. In January I took a Para Professional position with preschool special needs students. This summer I will do a summer program/tutoring in my home. My preschool "Bursting with Care", will open this fall. I will be working on getting my CDA this fall. The days were structured, organized, and learning was fun. Meals had all the food groups and junk food was not allowed. Couple years we planted a garden and maintained the weeds! Learning included manners, ABC's, colors, shapes, numbers, community events, and crafts. Reading Read more and center time was important everyday. Reading time gives children a time to relax and reflect on their day. Center time is play; children learn from playing.... Using their imagination to think outside their own box!
