Growing up my parents worked a lot, so there was always a nanny taking care of my siblings and I. I knew when I was younger that when I was there age (most of them were college students) that I wanted to be just like them. Each one of them became part of our family, and I quickly learned the best qualities a nanny should possess. I was safe sitter certified when I was 13, and I began babysitting the neighborhood toddlers. In high school I became a summer nanny for two kids ages 7 and 11. The past two summer breaks in college I was the head swim coach for a neighborhood swim team where I coached children ages 6 months to 18 years how to swim. I spend my free weekends at home babysitting my 19 month old god daughter and her 4 year old brother. I am Read more lifeguard and first aid certified. I love being outdoors, cooking, grocery shopping, and staying active.
