Hi! I am 24-years-old seeking some extra babysitting days! I have tons of experience as a nanny, babysitter and co-teacher in an early learning center. Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am Pediatric and Adult CPRFA trained as early as January 2016. I have also gone through several trainings through the Bridges Training Network for MANDT, Positive Behavior Supports, Emergency Preparedness, etc. Although those trainings are more applicable to adults with disabilities, they can very well be transformed to work with children as well. I worked at Flance Early Learning Center as a floater/co-teacher for 1 year when I graduated college in 2014. I worked almost exclusively in the infants/toddler room, but I also worked 3 months in the 2-year-old room. Infants and toddlers are my bread and butter. I like to think I am a baby-whisperer. I love to get down on the floor and Read more play with infants to help enhance their development while also getting a giggle or smile out of them. I have great nurturing instincts that allow me to detect what a child needs when he/she is upset. I have always had a natural gift at knowing where a child is and fully understanding what they need and want. Children grow to know me as their safe space. I am always here to comfort and let them feel how they feel and experience life how they want to experience it. Throughout high school and college, I worked summers as a babysitter and nanny with children ranging from ages 6 months-12 years. Additionally, I continue to work with children on weekends as I have been a consistent babysitter for two families for the past 8 months. The greatest reward is watching a child develop whether it's learning to crawl, roll over, walk, learn to read/write a new word. There is nothing more beautiful than watching those changes occur and to know you were apart of it happening.
