"It takes a village, to raise a child" I believe this is true and have made my contributions over the years by caring for children. I first assisted my mother with her in home day care. I wasn't much older than those she was watching but I began to look after those who were with me during the day. In high school I would watch both my younger brother (12 years younger) and other children in my area. During this time I learned how to care for children with different disabilities including autism and asthma. During college I worked at a daycare, learning how to work with large groups of children in a wide range of ages. All children are different and special in their own ways and I wish to help parents in provide and safe and happy environment in which to thrive.
