I have taught for over 20 years for SJSD in Saint Joseph, MO (3rd, 4th, and 6th grade), and I was also a reading specialist (K-12). I recently retired early back in May, so I could start on my own business in tutoring (Grow and Glow Tutoring) to help kids of all ages by providing one on one (hands on) instruction, and my number one goal is to get them to feel that they CAN do it and not to give up. Before I became a teacher, I was a before/after school teacher, preschool teacher, and an assistant director of Seedlings Day Care Center for a total of 10 years before moving to town.
