Hello! My name is Rebekah Houseknecht (don't worry--it's easier than it looks: pronounced "House-neck"). I am 23 years old, a graduate of Evangel University, and currently live in Springfield, MO. I am originally from a small town called Watkins Glen located in the Western region of New York State. I first started babysitting when I was thirteen and continued regularly until I was eighteen and had to leave home for college. My babysitting during that time included: 1) occasional/date-night type care to consistent, daily care, 2) from one child to four children at a time, and 3) various ages from infants to toddlers to elementary kids. I started babysitting because it was a perfect fit: I love kids and enjoy helping other people out when they need it! I have a 2 year old nephew (and another niece or nephew on the way!). I babysit him whenever his parents need Read more and I am available. I am not afraid of dirty diapers, dirty dishes, or dirty laundry. I am a reliable and trustworthy young lady with a very strong work ethic. I have my own transportation and a clean driving record. I am willing and able to do what needs to be done and to do a great job of it! In addition to babysitting, I also have experience in working with kids around animals (dogs, cats, and horses) and kids with special needs (through a therapy center in Republic, MO). I am somewhat flexible in the area of scheduling and am not afraid of early mornings/late nights. I do currently work various shifts at my part-time job (12am-8am, 8am-4pm, or 4pm-12am), which is why I set my availability the way I did.
