I began babysitting when I was 12, and worked all through high school. Then I earned teaching degrees in secondary French and English. I taught for many years in Minnesota, and then was a substitute teacher in Iowa. For 9 years I was the director of children's ministry at my church in Des Moines before moving to Springfield. Here I worked at LifeWay Christian stores for 2 years. Now my children are away at college, and I am looking to work with children again. I love playing games, doing arts and crafts, and being active outside.
