I had my first full-time summer nanny position when I was 15 years old and babysat regularly all through high school! I have experience taking care of kids from my family's church, kids of good family friends, and many more. I've not only been babysitting for almost a decade, but also working my way through 21 years of experience being a big sister to 3 incredible siblings! I ended up in St. Joseph from Emporia, KS where I went to school for 3 years. I moved here when I got a promotion at my full time job and decided to go back to school for elementary education at Missouri Western. It took me a little longer to realize that my passion didn't lie with Communications like I thought it did, and I plan on pursuing my passion of working with kids and eventually end up teaching kindergarten somewhere around this Read more area! I'm also active in Big Brothers Big Sisters and throughout my experience with them have had 2 Sisters and even a Little Brother. My current Little's name is Julie and I love spending as much time with her as I can! Since moving to the St. Joseph area a little over a year ago, it has been the driving force getting me involved in the community here and I don't know what I would have done without all the support and experiences I have gained from volunteering with them. I currently work PRN (as needed) at Mosaic Life Care and am looking to spend my remaining free time part-time babysitting/nannying for a family in need of someone reliable, trustworthy, and someone who just loves spending time taking care of others!
