I have babysat my little brother since I was 9. I also have babysat the children of almost every neighbor I've had. I never really had any training besides learning from watching my mom, but I have never had an emergency that I couldn't handle. I absolutely love children, and volunteer to watch my cousins any chance I get. My cousins are such a handful, but they are so precious and full of joy. They are mischievous and definitely little rascals but babysitting them is the funnest job I've ever had. I've babysat lots of other kids too, and have never had an issue with them liking me. I have a knack for kids, they take right to me. I've even been able to get on the good sides of kids with behavioral problems. I love having a fun time with kids, but I am also not a push-over. I tend to suggest alternatives if they want to do something they aren't supposed to, and everyone ends up happy.
