Hi! My name is Sophie, and I have been working with children for about 5 years now. I first started childcare by teaching swim lessons at my local community center. Over the years, I have taught several different age groups, ranging from infants to adults. Because of my experience with swim lessons, I am a certified swim instructor and certified in First Aid/CPR. I have also been a Lead Teacher at an after school care program through Johnson County Parks and Recreation. This job involved me supervising and entertaining up to 70 elementary-age children with several other teachers. Along with these jobs, I also have nanny experience involving watching 3+ children (including an infant) for multiple days at a time on my own. Currently I am a student at UCM looking to babysit in the evenings or nanny after school!
