Hi! My name is Lexie and I am a graduate student at Vanderbilt studying school counseling! I have a variety of experiences working with children. In high school, I babysat for families with elementary-aged children. Throughout college and graduate school, I worked as a swim instructor for children who were working to ditch their floaties anywhere from age 2 to 15. I recently graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education and am certified for grades 1-6. My degree required a year-long student teaching internship where I was at the school working full time with students anywhere from age 5 to 11. I have recently gained experience working with infants and toddlers in the Nashville area. I feel comfortable around children and even keep up-to-date on all of the children-appropriate movies and popular trends.
