My child care experience starts out pretty similar to most, with the occasional babysitting here and there for family and neighbors. After high school, I went on to work at 24 Hour Fitness, for a little over a year, in their Kids Club department. Whenever parents came to workout they would drop off their little ones to me, for a max of two hours per day, to watch over them and play with them throughout their time in the KC. It was there that I met many families whom I went on to babysit for outside of the gym, and where I met a little boy named Danyiel who I nannied up until the start of the new year. After 24 I worked in the Kids Klub department at Gold's Gym, and babysit for a couple families there as well. I just moved to the area so I'm looking for Read more a new family to be a part of. I'm currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program through Penn Foster, an online school, where I am working towards obtaining my Associates Degree. Someday, I hope to get my Masters and open up my own Montessori School! I love working with children and always have. They are wonderful and brilliant, and I have learned so much about life from them. A little about me, I cannot stand electronics. Children need to explore the world around them, and take adventures no matter the weather. I'm passionate about health and fitness, so I am always looking for more ways to get children involved in the kitchen and physically active. My motto is "kids will be kids", which is pretty much summed up to everything will be A-OKAY! Children are rambunctious, so accidents will happen, but my number one concern is making sure they don't put themselves or anyone else in any kind of danger. I try to give kids as much freedom as possible; letting them make their own decisions most of the time and asking lots of questions. Baby-talk (unless we are goofing around) isn't something I ever use, just like I would never use it with another adult. My fee is a range from $10-$20 an hour - I prefer working directly with each individual family to come up with fair pay and it is a flat rate, therefore there won't ever be any additional charges (my profile says it's a $1 increase only because I was not allowed to enter $0). If there are any questions or concerns about my training/certifications please feel free to call or text me at any time and I will get back to you ASAP!
