My mother watched children in our home when I was growing up for 10+ years . My first job was a babysitting job for my next door neighbor every weekend and some times an evening during the week and for the summer and school breaks . I also kept the nursery at our church taught children's church and vacation bible school and taught mission friends as well. When I graduated high school I took a job keeping my cousins 3 daughters twins who were 6 years old and their younger sister who was 4. I did that every day full time for about 6 months . I have four children of my own 2 boys and 2 girls ages are 21 19 15 and 12. I also had a full time position at a daycare in Omaha nebraska for a little over a year when I was there with my Read more ex husband . I worked the infant room and took care of 4 babies myself. I also worked the 2 and 3 year old room as well as filled in when they needed someone for the after schoolers. I assisted the girl scout leader.
