I am currently a senior at Colgate University studying English Literature and African Studies. I plan to pursue a career in education post-graduation. Prior to university, I was a Sunday School teacher at my church for two years. I facilitated classes and bible study every week for Pre-K aged children as well as elementary/middle school aged children. I am the second eldest of five children, so I quite literally have a lifetime of experience watching children, as my mother had a full-time job and my father was in the military. I also currently babysit a two year old child and a very lively schnauzer for my professor at Colgate. Working with children is truly a passion of mine, and something that I plan to build a lifetime career out of, so the prospect of getting more hands on experience with children is an exciting opportunity for me.
