I am a 58 year old woman who raised my 28 year old son on my own after his father died when he was 2. I have just moved to Asheville and am looking for fulfilling work. I have a degree in psychology which I applied in raising my son by communicating in a compassionate and respectful manner on a level he can understand. I am the favorite Aunt to my niece's 4 and 14 year old children. I love to play, go on adventures, shop and cook with kids. Teaching life skills can be entertaining if approached properly. I have a great imagination to keep activities interesting. For over a year I have volunteered at the local animal shelter and have 2 big dogs and 2 cats who I cook for, groom and exercise.
