Hi! My name is Dana. I'm 23, a UNC Asheville graduate, and looking for a part-time childcare position. I have over eight years of childcare experience and am passionate about working with children. I've had babysitting experience with kids ages 1 to 7, I worked this past year with middle-schoolers in the YMCAÃ s afterschool middle-school program and summer camp, and I've cared for my two younger siblings throughout my life. I have special needs experience with my younger sister and through the YMCA. I connect well with all types of children and foster an engaging, supportive, and loving environment. I love doing arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and reading. I have a very flexible schedule right now, with almost full weekday availability and some weekend availability. CPR and First Aid Certified.

We love Dana! The kids are genuinely excited when she comes over. I was very nervous about finding a sitter as a new mom, but I have no concerns whatsoever with Dana. She is very thoughtful, intelligent, and warm. Additionally, she is an involved community member as she volunteers with the literacy council. I love that. We are so happy to have met Dana.
