I moved to Asheville last year and am employed at UNC Asheville as the university's Transfer Admissions Counselor. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010 and then moved to Spain for a year where I worked as an English teacher in a bilingual high school. Not only do I have experience with older children, but I have been a regular babysitter for newborns, toddlers and children since my teenage years. My style of babysitting is fun and hands-on with games and activities when appropriate. In my experience, when kids are having fun, they are less likely to remember that Mom and Dad are gone (commence the tears)!
