I have worked as a babysitter for the past 9 years and have experience caring for children of all ages. I recently graduated college with a Degree in Social Work and some relevent courses I have taken include Infant Development, Child Development, Emergent Literacy, and Educational Psychology. I have worked as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, camp counselor, and teacher's assistant. I have also worked in schools and daycares both as a volunteer and for hire. I have a lot of experience with the Waldorf and Montessori ways of educating the young child and believe in setting boundaries through gentle redirection, thereby honoring the child as their own individual. I am the eldest of five children and helped to parent my younger siblings. I love to have a lot of fun and truly enjoy playing with children!
