Hello! My name is Christine Dugan and I am a recent Columbia College graduate and yoga teacher in training. I moved to Chicago 5 years ago from outside of Detroit, Michigan but am originally from Atlanta, GA and lived in Greenville, SC as well. I love children and have had a lot of experience in childcare including -11 years of babysitting various families (all ages) -tutoring children in Peru -volunteering and teaching at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center at Beaumont Hospital in Beverly Hills, Michigan -teaching piano lessons -volunteering at my high school’s daycare center -babysitting for neighbors, friends, and my very large family! (I have 33 first cousins ages 2-31). Some of my hobbies/interests include art (painting, drawing, photography, graphic design), dance, yoga, traveling/backpacking, reading, running, attending concerts and festivals, and spending time with my wonderful family and friends. For example, playing new sports, visiting museums/attractions, playing/dancing to music, making jewelry, and all sorts of arts and crafts. I am not the sitter that will just throw on a movie and kick back while the parents are out! I feel that communication is key with my employers, as I'd like to respect the parenting methods being instilled and really get to know the children!
