Hi! My name is Rachel and I just recently moved to the Black Mountain/Asheville area. I grew up on a small street in southern California full of families with children which kept me busy with babysitting jobs. In high school, I worked as children’s event coordinator. I have experience caring for children of all ages. Most recently, as a missionary I spent several months in Colombia working with kids and some time in Mexico working specifically with children with disabilities. I loved my work of facilitating and overseeing children’s activities. As an added bonus of my time there I was able to master my spanish! I have truly enjoyed these opportunities.
