I've just recently returned to Carolina Beach after spending four months backpacking through Southeast Asia. I spent several summers as a camp counselor, spending two months at a time with boys and girls aged 4.5-15. There I lived with 8-11 girls in a cabin where I was in charge of their health and wellbeing. I helped the girls independently maintain their personal hygiene routines, including teeth brushing, showering, and eating three balanced meals a day. In addition I also led small group activities for groups of campers throughout the day. As a counselor I had to be CPR and First Aid certified.
