I am an experienced middle-aged mother of two looking to continue caring for children now that mine are grown. I think raising children is the most important job in the world - they are our future leaders! I currently work part-time as an art instructor for KidzArt at a local art studio and have my BA in Art & Visual Technology. Until just recently I've been working as a Teachers Aide in 1st grade for a private school in Cary. I homeschooled my kids for 3 years and taught multiple classes in Sunday School and VBS at our church. I've also worked in the church nursery in the infant/toddler room. I am CPR and First Aid certified by the AHA. I've been a Summer Camp Counselor in both KidzArt and at my school for the past 7 years so I am familiar with many different developmental stages of children. I Read more enjoy being outdoors - hiking, kayaking or playing at the park, but I also enjoy being indoors - reading, baking, or drawing pictures. I love being around animals and going for walks. I am your typical all American mother and proud to have been a part of so many student's lives.
