Hi, I'm Latoya and I love working with children! I have various experiences working with children such as babysitting cousins, tutoring, previous health educator for young moms and children, substitute teaching, volunteer experiences in medical school, and healthcare exposure to sick children. I have been babysitting with Care. com for the past 5 months on weekends and weekday evenings. I do the following activities with children: arts and crafts, reading books, movies, video games, and puzzles. I am rarely on my phone during babysitting only to provide text updates for the parents. I don't mind at all when parents check in and/or if they want to meet in person first. Also, I can do light housekeeping and meal prep. I bring my bookbag with my laptop to do some things when the kids are sleep. I tend to bring my own food or order something from Uber-eats. I am also Read more CPR certified and have my own vehicle. I do not smoke and I do not wear strong perfume. My schedule is free after 5 pm on M-F. I am free anytime during weekends. I am currently in medical school and doing a research year in Raleigh. Words cannot express how fortunate we are to have had Latoya come babysit for us. We were hosting an Argentine Tango Festival over the weekend and needed someone to care for the child of one of our instructor pairs, which is a a bit out of the ordinary, but Latoya rose up to meet the challenge head on! She's a quick thinker and problem solver and gives frequent updates so you know exactly what's going on. She really helped us enjoy the day by taking one of our many responsibilities off our plate.
