Hi! I am very excited about the prospect of working with you and your family. My name is Kedar and I have recently relocated to the RTP area. Duke University's Technical Communication program has brought me to this beautiful state. I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. I have taken care of the young and elderly from a very young age. I have cared for numerous nieces and nephews. And I also provided end of life care for my grandmother, who suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's disease during her final months. I hold two technical degrees. One is electronics engineering technology and the other is in computer engineering technology. I worked for the federal government for several years on aviation related electronic equipment. I have always loved working with people and imparting knowledge to others, so, even while working I made time to tutor. Over Read more the past 10 years, I have taught students from ages 6 to 75. English, Writing, editing, phonics, and reading comprehension are my strongest subjects. I also tutor K-8 students in math and science. I believe patience, kindness, compassion and firmness, when needed, are the foundational skills every good educator needs. I use those skills to inspire my students to have the confidence they need to master difficult subjects. My lessons are the right balance of intensive, engaging and enjoyable. I promise to provide the highest level of patience, attention and professionalism to you and your loved one(s).
