I am currently a student at Appalachian State University majoring in Interior Design. I have always loved children (I have a younger sister) and have been babysitting for six years. My sitting experiences span the ages from infants to tweens. The family I usually babysit for, I have known for five years and have been babysitting their children (now ages 7 and 5), since the youngest, Isa, was born. Along with this family, I have babysat for a family over the last three years who have two girls, ages 7 and 3 currently. I recently babysat for an infant who was 9 months old. I have no preference for the ages I babysit for. My philosophy on childcare is to first and foremost keep the children safe and happy. I am able to keep children focused by doing different activities with them.
