I currently volunteer in the UNC hospital psychiatric unit on the children’s floor. Through this experience I have been able to work through the good and bad with children ranging from age 5 to 14. I continue to want to work with children in my career and feel as though presence benefits me just as much as I can help them. I have also been a tutor for elementary age children during high school and for a short period of time in college through the club HYPE. I have been able to work in a variety of areas and have knowledge in several subjects in order to best accommodate each individual child.
