I am currently a college student at Virginia Tech, so I am looking for a full time nanny position starting in July! Throughout the summer of 2014 I worked as day camp counselor at the YMCA for kids ages 5-9. I worked with the kids from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. During the summer of 2013, I worked at a camp, a three and a half week stay away camp. I was a counselor in the 7 and 8-year-old cabin and I also taught gymnastics to 7 to 14-year-old campers. I was responsible for the children 24/7 which included playing games, organizing free time activities, assisting during meal times and with personal hygiene, and bedtime routines. During Fall Semester 2013, I volunteered in a daycare in the community of Blacksburg, VA. I worked with 4 to 5-year-olds, and helped during snack time, play time, and recess. During the summer of Read more 2010, I was a certified YMCA swim instructor. I taught all levels of swimming ability 3 to 8-year-old children. From high school to present, I have had many opportunities to babysit children ages 1 to 11. I organized play, meal, and rest time for families with 1 to 3 children.
