I am a CPR/First Aid certified mother of two bright and caring toddler boys (almost 3 & 4 yrs. old). I kind of fell into providing child care and now I fell in love with childcare altogether. Doing so allows me to help out families like yourself while you are at work, while still allowing me to spend time with my children, as well. Both the child I care for and my children benefit socially and developmentally and that means the world to me! I have my own reliable SUV, have a smoke-free and pet-free home (although, I love animals). I have watched children recently for the past couple of years. My availability has opened up as the one child has entered preschool this fall and my other child that I watched has a new scheduling conflict. I would prefer to watch children under 6 years of age. The little Read more ones start their day with breakfast, arts and crafts, playtime, snack time, cleanup time and then nap time by 1 p.m. We love to do crafts during the holidays and regularly like to paint, draw, and play with play-doh. Every day is an opportunity to learn while having fun. I pride myself on how much my children have learned thus far (all their shapes, numbers 1-15, colors, etc.) and enjoy teaching kids about the world around them. I'm very comfortable assisting with potty training, homework, feeding, and behavior redirection (I rarely spank mine, but I will never spank yours). We have an enclosed backyard with two playgrounds within our development and a neighborhood swim club available to us in the summer. Some of our favorite parks include Jetton Park, Hornets Nest Park, and Blythe Landing Park just to name a few. We also love to go to the Library right down the street and reading is so much fun! My working hubby has a top secret security clearance which also requires me to be on my best behavior! I find myself to be very ethical, genuine, outgoing person with a high emotional IQ. I love being a mom and a care provider. We could be the perfect fit!
