Hello! Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I am a 27 year old professional living in Berkeley I attended art school for most of my life (starting with arts boarding school) and am about to begin grad school to get my MA in Art Therapy. I am very into volunteering, and before my recent move I spent 3 morning/early afternoons a week at Urban Ministry's Artworks 945 program. I am also involved in monthly events for mentally ill adults, as well as children with immigrant poor living situations. I can always shift my schedule according to your needs. I cannot describe how much I enjoying spending time with my sister's 1.5 year old son (my adorable nephew!), but if you've watched children grow up, I assume you know that joy and pride! He is the light of my life (don't tell my husband!). I have been described Read more as creative, fun, outgoing, and responsible. I connect with people very easily and naturally. These qualities have always made babysitting and working with children a great success! Generally we do lots of creative art projects, playing with learning and fun toys (depending on age), exercise and running around, and read books and do whatever learning projects the parents have requested, etc. Few things are more heartwarming than making an infant or child smile and laugh, or just seeing them having a great time. I am very comfortable around kids of all ages and circumstances, and have always had a great time babysitting my cousins' children or my nephew.
