I am a young 53 year old, new to the Charlotte area. Although my background was in business, I chose to become a Substitute Teacher and Private Tutor for 10 years while my children were in Elementary and Middle School. Once my children reached High School, I returned to the business world, allowing me to concentrate on the 3 hormonal teenagers awaiting me at home. I did however continue to tutor students during the summer months. My children were very active in sports and extra-curricular activities. Which made my home the hub for many team mates and friends, this too kept me close to the "action" where my children were concerned.
