I have gained all of my babysitting experience from being there for family and coworkers who needed a babysitter and someone to help with homework. At first I was doing it because they needed me to. After a while, it became something that I looked forward to. I am looking to gain the necessary training to watch smaller children (2yrs and younger) because I want to leave my management job and pursue this as an actual career. I have babysat all types of children and have gained a comfort for being around them since I do not have any of my own. Children often need guidance and attention. I can provide that with no problem.
